These two Portuguese companies, Innowave and Greenlab, are taking advantage of the World Trade Center Lisboa International Academy through ELITE to help them expand their operations around the world. Both companies have a solid reputation in their home countries and beyond, and they view ELITE as a key platform to grow their global presence.
Innowave, which was started in 2007, offers digital and business transformation solutions in areas like telecom, energy, banking, and insurance.
In recent years, the company has been placing more emphasis on AI. Their NEXT strategy focuses on three main goals: expanding into the U.S., growing in financial services and insurance, and fully integrating AI into both their internal processes and their clients' solutions. The CEO, André Gonçalves, aims for the company to reach €50 million in revenue by 2028, thanks to AI technologies, efficient operations, and talent development programs. Innowave has also developed the AgentWave platform, which is a generative AI tool that mimics different team roles to improve productivity without replacing human judgment. The company is now active in seven countries, and expects to generate around €26 million in revenue in 2025, mostly from the North American market. By joining ELITE, Innowave gains access to global best practices, valuable networks, and financial support to fuel its expansion.
Greenlab, with 15 years of experience, works mainly in sustainable construction and environmental certifications.
The company operates in eight countries and has completed over 200 projects, focusing on reducing carbon emissions and improving energy efficiency. Founded by Isabel Santos, the company has created a licensed living lab that functions as both a testing ground and a demonstrator for their clients and international partners. The ELITE program gives Greenlab the resources and connections needed to expand its sustainability projects and enter new international markets.
For both Innowave and Greenlab, ELITE serves as a "launching pad" to scale their innovative approaches, integrate AI, and promote sustainable practices on a global scale.
