The second Beja Tech Day will take place on November 12th at the Alqueva Center, bringing together experts and organizations from the Alentejo, Algarve, and Andalusia regions.
The event’s main topic is “Smart Cities,” and it will look at how smaller cities and less densely populated areas can help make the AAA Euroregion more connected and stronger.
This event is organized by the Social Innovation Incubator of Baixo Alentejo (IISBA), CCDR Alentejo, and EDIA, with help from EMAS de Beja and CIMBAL.
It supports the goals of EURO AAA and the Alentejo 2030 Regional Program, with a focus on innovation, digital tools, and working together across borders. The Alqueva Center itself shows the region’s commitment to modern, eco-friendly infrastructure and its dream of becoming a key place for tech teamwork.
The event will include speakers from government and technical fields, as well as projects that focus on digital tools, moving toward clean energy, smart transportation, and shared decision-making.
As part of Portugal Tech Week, Beja Tech Day offers a chance for cross-border groups to work together and build a stronger, more innovative area in southern Iberia.
