Indra Transforms Work Culture with Microsoft 365 Copilot

Indra is changing how it works inside the company by using Microsoft 365 Copilot on a large scale. This AI tool is helping over 3,000 employees around the world, and in just one year, the company has seen improvements in how fast work gets done, how efficient teams are, and how creative they become. Indra is also getting ready to roll out this program to even more people around the globe.

Luis Navarrete, the company’s CIO, says the change isn't just about using new tools.

He says the company is seeing a bigger change in culture — teams are becoming more flexible, more creative, and more ready to use AI. To make this work, Indra has developed a strong plan that includes training for employees, people who help spread the use of the tool, and real-world examples that match the company's business goals. They are taking this rollout seriously, treating it like a real industrial shift powered by AI.

So far, the results are really positive:

- 79% of users find the AI tools helpful

- Each user saves about 2 hours a week

- Productivity has gone up by 5%

- Repetitive tasks like looking through documents are done 90% faster

- Users give a satisfaction score of 4 out of 5

The program also uses something called Agent Builder to create custom AI helpers, including the Indra M365 Copilot Helper, which helps new users get started and encourages them to use the tools.

As Indra prepares to add another 1,500 users, they're also introducing Copilot Chat and working closely with Microsoft through their digital partner, Minsait, which was named Microsoft Spain Partner of the Year in 2024.

The main focus now is on creating tailored solutions, using AI in a more independent and smart way, and making AI a key driver of value — not just for Indra, but also for its public and private sector partners.

For Indra, AI is more than just a tool.

It’s helping to build a new way of working that puts people at the center.
