SWJ Portugal, the local branch of the international SWJ group, has reportedly opened an office in Lisbon in 2024 and already grown to around 20 employees. The German embedded systems company set up its operations in Parque das Nações, positioning itself in one of the capital’s most active tech districts.
The Lisbon hub focuses on software development, hardware engineering, and testing for advanced tech solutions. The company is also offering flexible work arrangements as part of its strategy to attract specialised talent in Portugal’s competitive engineering market.
With its expansion, SWJ joins the growing list of international tech firms strengthening their presence in the country’s innovation ecosystem.
