Digi is doubling down on its expansion in Portugal, with the Romanian telecom operator stressing its preference for organic growth in the markets it enters. Still, the company won’t entirely dismiss potential acquisitions.
Asked about a possible move on Meo, should Altice decide to sell, Digi’s CEO was clear: “It’s not a focus, but we never say never.” The executive added that the group is satisfied with the performance of its Portuguese operations so far.
For now, Digi’s strategy remains centered on scaling its footprint and strengthening competitiveness, while keeping an open door to opportunities that may emerge in the sector.
