DIGI Bills €37.2 Million in Portugal and Reaches 960,000 Active Services

Telecommunications operator DIGI achieved a turnover of €37.2 million in Portugal during the first half of the year, representing a 5.33% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Active services expanded to approximately 960,000, up 21.7% year-on-year.

Revenue Growth and Cost Optimization

Operational revenue in Portugal reached €18.9 million in the second quarter alone, marking a 9.2% increase from €17.3 million in Q2 2025.

The operator reduced operating costs in the Portuguese market to €52.4 million for H1, down from €58.8 million in the prior-year period. In Q2, local expenses fell from €32.4 million to €26.1 million.

  • Mobile Growth: Mobile connections rose 29.8% year-on-year to 545,000, driving the bulk of local expansion.

  • Global Context: Consolidated group revenue reached €1.19 billion with €411.7 million in EBITDA, though overall net losses stood at €45.92 million due to group-wide investments.
