CompuWorks Expands to Leiria with Ambitious Growth Targets

Lisbon-based CompuWorks Technology has launched a new technology hub in Leiria, aiming to strengthen its presence in central Portugal and expand operations to Coimbra, Figueira da Foz, and Aveiro. Specializing in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity, the company expects to generate €1 million in sales during its first year in the region.

Currently serving 250 clients nationwide, CompuWorks employs 50 professionals and reports an annual turnover of €3.1 million. The Leiria expansion is part of its strategy to become a leading technology partner for mid-sized companies, addressing the growing demand for specialized IT services, cybersecurity, and robust infrastructure.

CEO Ricardo Teixeira highlights the lack of major cybersecurity-focused companies in the region, positioning CompuWorks as a key player. The company also plans to hire 10 new employees to support its rapid growth.

As businesses increasingly face digital security challenges, Teixeira emphasizes that high-performance IT infrastructure is critical to maintaining agility, responsiveness, and competitiveness in today’s market.
