Responsibilities:

• Define, document, and govern integration platform guidelines.
• Design and maintain integration architecture principles, standards, and best practices.
• Define new integration rules and present them clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
• Prepare and defend integration proposals, standards, and architectural decisions with stakeholders.
• Design and specify highly complex application integrations.
• Produce clear and structured documentation for integration guidelines, governance, and application integration specifications.
• Analyze business and technical requirements, translating them into robust integration solutions.
• Ensure alignment between integration architecture, security standards, governance rules, and business needs.
• Evaluate integration platforms, patterns, and market trends to support architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary and global teams in complex and strategic project environments.
• Promote high standards of quality, scalability, maintainability, security, and reliability across integration solutions.
• Support Agile teams by providing architectural guidance during planning, refinement, and delivery activities.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives within complex enterprise environments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.
• Up to 15 years of experience in API architecture, integration architecture, or a similar role.
• Deep knowledge of different types of integration platforms.
• Strong knowledge of integration patterns, standards, governance, and new market trends.
• Experience designing and specifying complex application integrations.
• Experience defining integration rules, guidelines, and platform governance models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to present and defend architectural decisions with different stakeholders.
• Ability to work in collaborative environments and with global teams.
• Strong critical analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Strong commitment to delivery quality and technical excellence.
• Experience in strategic projects.
• Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities market.
• Knowledge of GDPR/RGPD requirements.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Nice to have:

• Portuguese and/or Spanish language skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience working in enterprise IT or digital transformation projects.
• Experience with API management platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud integration architectures.
• Experience with security standards related to APIs and integrations.
• Experience working with distributed systems and complex application landscapes.
