About the Position

We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious Business Manager for one of our group companies in Lisbon, who will lead partnerships with clients, drive new business development, and ensure the successful growth of teams in the IT sector. This high-impact role focuses on strategic lead and project prospecting, proactive management of the client portfolio, building long-term relationships with stakeholders, recruiting consultants, and market analysis, positioning Sourcing Trust as a leading partner in Outsourcing, Nearshore, and Cloud Products.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Business Development
  • Defining the commercial strategy and product support, assisting in setting objectives
  • Prospecting and analyzing the potential of new clients
  • Expanding and optimizing the existing business and client portfolio
  • Managing and maintaining a robust pipeline of leads, prospects, targets, and clients (x-sell)
  • Project management focusing on identifying, scheduling, and implementing all necessary steps for the deployment of resources or solutions
  • Expanding networking and outreach, both personally and for the company, using the necessary digital and commercial tools
  • Scheduling and presenting Outsourcing and Cloud Products solutions in prospecting, project, and commercial meetings.
  • Other tasks that may prove necessary and relevant for the position.
  • Client Management
  • Develop, expand, and proactively manage the national client portfolio, fostering long-term relationships and loyalty.
  • Identify growth opportunities and develop accounts from A to Z, throughout the commercial journey, from potential lead to client.
  • Conduct contract negotiations and service terms and conditions, in strict coordination with the legal area and management team (MoU, NDAs, Commercial Contracts, SLAs, etc...)
  • Ensure profitability of accounts, projects, and positions, in line with financial targets set by the organization.
  • Manage and resolve any operational, technical, or commercial incidents.
  • Recruitment and Team Building
  • Manage recruitment processes with the technology talent team.
  • Support recruitment to meet client expectations, validating profiles for proposals at hand.
  • Propose and assist with tools for retention and professional development of resources.
  • Market Analysis
  • Analyze IT market trends to shape effective commercial strategies
  • Update knowledge of the technological ecosystem, anticipating challenges, identifying stakeholders, and recognizing opportunities.

Requirements

  • Degree or higher in Management or similar
  • Native Portuguese and fluent English (Required)
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial/sales functions (Required)
  • Knowledge of the IT market (Required) and Experience in IT Outsourcing (Preferred)
  • Demonstrated success in client and commercial pipeline management (from Leads to Clients)
  • Good networking and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to deliver actionable market insights.
  • Autonomy and proactivity, with a results-oriented and performance drive
  • Team spirit with strong collaboration skills.

Language Requirements

  • Fluent in Portuguese.
  • C2 level English (oral and written).
