Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Are you looking for a project where you can really accelerate test automation and not just execute manual tests?

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join an enterprise team responsible for critical business applications, focusing on the evolution and automation of testing processes.

You will play an active role in transforming existing functional tests into automated tests, directly contributing to the quality, stability, and evolution of the solutions used by thousands of users.

What do we value for you to be a SMART Tester?

  • +3 years of experience in QA and Test Automation
  • Experience in creating and maintaining automated tests
  • Experience in UI and API testing
  • Solid SQL knowledge
  • Experience in Shell Scripting
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
  • Experience with Jira and Xray
  • Knowledge of Java

What will your responsibilities be at SMART?

  • Convert functional tests into automated tests;
  • Develop and maintain UI and API tests;
  • Participate in defining strategies and test cases;
  • Analyze requirements and ensure adequate functional coverage;
  • Work with SQL databases for validation and result analysis;
  • Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines;
  • Collaborate with development, functional analysis, and business teams.

Technologies you may work with: Katalon Studio, SQL Server and Oracle, Java, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira, and Xray.

Important: we are not necessarily looking for someone with Katalon experience. If you have a strong background in automation with other tools, we want to meet you.
