We are looking for a Linux Systems Administrator to join a small, highly responsible team where platform stability and continuity are critical to the business.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Manage and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 7 and 8) infrastructures in globally distributed environments
• Perform first-line troubleshooting on server incidents, including disk space, processes, connectivity, and performance
• Execute OS-level administration: users, access, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management
• Develop and maintain Bash/Shell scripts for operational automation
• Contribute to the development of local automation capabilities with Ansible
• Monitor system health and respond to alerts before they impact operations
• Collaborate daily with development, network, and operations teams
• Participate in informal on-call for critical incidents outside of normal hours
• Support disaster recovery, backups, and business continuity processes
• Document procedures and contribute to continuous improvement of operations

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience as a Linux Systems Administrator in production, ideally in a mission-critical or financial context
• Deep experience with RHEL 7 and RHEL 8
• Strong OS-level troubleshooting ability, methodical and independent
• Solid experience with Bash/Shell scripting
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management and provisioning
• Background in server hardware management, OS migrations, and distributed infrastructures
• Comfortable working with high autonomy in a small team with direct responsibility for production
• Experience with on-call support or after-hours
• Ability to collaborate clearly with development teams in English

We also value:

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with monitoring tools like Zabbix, Prometheus, or Grafana
• Basic knowledge of Windows / NAS Administration
• Experience with virtualization, such as VMware or equivalent

📍 Location: Porto

⚠️ Hybrid model: 3 days a week in the office

Salary Package

• Junior: €12,880 to €21,000 gross (14 months) + Meal Allowance + Flexible Benefits
• Mid: €14,000 to €28,000 gross (14 months) + Meal Allowance + Flexible Benefits
• Senior: €20,000 to €49,000 gross (14 months) + Meal Allowance + Flexible Benefits
