What do you need to be a SMART – Data Systems Engineer?

• Higher education in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems, or a similar area;
• Experience or knowledge in SQL and databases;
• Knowledge of Linux;
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and/or Docker;
• Interest in infrastructure, systems, cloud, and new technologies;
• Analytical skills and a knack for solving technical problems;
• Curiosity and a willingness to explore and test new technologies;
• Good knowledge of English.

What will your duties be at SMART?

• Evaluate, test, and validate new technologies and solutions before their integration into the technological ecosystem;
• Participate in the implementation, optimization, preparation, and integration of solutions end-to-end;
• Analyze performance, scalability, and resource utilization of systems;
• Work with Kubernetes, SQL, Linux, infrastructure, and data platforms;
• Conduct tests and technical trials in pre-production and production environments;
• Analyze how different technological components interconnect and identify optimization opportunities;
• Support the management and evolution of a distributed and large-scale technological ecosystem;
• Keep up with trends and cutting-edge technologies by assessing their application potential;
• Work closely with different technology teams in selecting and integrating new solutions.
