LIS - Platform Engineer (M/F/D)

We are looking for a Platform Engineer to join our product team and contribute to the operation, reliability, and continuous improvement of our platform in a cloud environment.

Role Overview

As a Platform Engineer, you will contribute to both the day-to-day operations and the ongoing evolution of the platform. Working within a platform engineering team delivering services to technology teams and end users, you will collaborate closely with senior engineers and DevOps specialists.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to day-to-day platform operations following established procedures (e.g. maintenance activities).
• Support deployment activities and perform platform administration in line with access and operational standards.
• Help ensure platform activities are properly tracked and documented.
• Collaborate with relevant peers (engineers or users) to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Monitor platform health and alerts, escalate issues when appropriate, and support their resolution.
• Contribute to process improvements by identifying recurring issues and suggesting pragmatic enhancements.
• Apply security and operational practices in daily activities.

User Support

• Collaborate with users and your product team to resolve issues efficiently.
• Handle user requests and support tickets in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide support for incidents, service requests, and user questions.
• Contribute to improving support quality and operational efficiency.

Collaboration & Agile Delivery

• Work within an Agile team and contribute to team ceremonies and coordination.
• Communicate clearly on incidents, requests, and operational follow-up.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Good understanding of DevOps and platform operations concepts.
• Hands-on exposure to cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, or scripting is a plus.
• Experience with monitoring, ticketing, or support tools is an advantage.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices, infrastructure automation, and operational best practices.
• Interest in AI tools and willingness to explore practical use cases is a plus.

What Will Be a Plus

• Experience with data platforms such as Snowflake.
• Experience with a citizen development platform (such as coder).
• Experience with Kubernetes.
