We are looking for a Lead Mobile Architect to join a hybrid project in Porto.

Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • More than 7 years of experience in mobile application development with strong architectural background.
  • Deep expertise in Flutter, including state management, architectural patterns, and governance tools such as Dart Code Metrics.
  • Proven experience leading development teams with more than 6 people.
  • Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience providing technical estimations and justifying architectural decisions.
  • Experience balancing technical debt reduction with business delivery needs.
  • Ability to translate complex architectural concepts into actionable development tasks.
  • Strong experience conducting code reviews and maintaining high engineering standards.
  • Experience with native mobile technologies (iOS and Android).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Interest or experience with BLE/NFC technology (nice to have).
  • Experience with the Windows ecosystem (nice to have).
  • Fluency in English.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and govern the mobile architecture strategy.
  • Ensure code quality and architectural consistency using governance tools.
  • Lead a cross-functional team of developers and quality engineers.
  • Take ownership of delivery performance, team motivation, and operational success.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Architects, and stakeholders.
  • Co-create technical solutions and provide technical estimations.
  • Guide the development team through architectural decisions and implementation standards.
  • Balance technical debt management with feature development priorities.
  • Support agile process optimization in collaboration with Scrum Masters.
  • Contribute to performance feedback and development goals of team members.
  • Conduct detailed code reviews and contribute to complex technical implementations when necessary.
