We are looking for a DBA (MS SQL Server e Oracle) to join a hybrid project in Lisbon.

Salary range: up to 45.000€ annual gross.

Profile

  • Senior profile with 5+ years of experience in Database Administration, Governance, and Performance Engineering.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server configuration and administration (on-premises and Azure SQL Managed Instances).
  • Solid experience with Oracle Database administration and configuration for on-premises instances.
  • Hands-on experience working within Azure Cloud and Windows Server environments.
  • Proven track record in database diagnostic, performance tuning, capacity planning, and monitoring setup.
  • Demonstrated ability to create comprehensive technical documentation, runbooks, and deliver mentoring/knowledge transfer.
  • Professional fluency in English.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of on-premises and Azure database environments to establish governance standards and best practices.
  • Identify operational, performance, and technical risks across MS SQL Server and Oracle platforms.
  • Execute remediation activities to improve database reliability, maintainability, capacity planning, and data synchronization.
  • Implement robust database diagnostics, monitoring solutions, and operational governance procedures.
  • Create detailed technical documentation, operational runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide mentoring and knowledge transfer to internal teams to ensure long-term operational stability.
