AI Security Engineer

We are looking for an AI Security Engineer to integrate a hybrid project in Lisbon (Venda do Pinheiro).

Profile:

• At least 7 years of experience in IT and cybersecurity, preferably in digital transformation or platform contexts;
• Strong technical expertise in cloud security, identity and access management (IAM), application security, and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC);
• Experience in security architecture, threat modeling, and risk assessment for distributed systems;
• Knowledge of security in AI/ML and Agentic AI (prompt injection, data leakage, agent identity and tool misuse, model supply chain risks);
• Familiarity with frameworks such as OWASP LLM Top 10, MITRE ATLAS, and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF);
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical and architectural decisions;
• Pragmatic, results-oriented profile, comfortable in ambiguous environments;
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities:

• Integrate “security by design” principles into AI use cases, agents, and platform integrations;
• Implement robust security controls;
• Translate the group’s security policies and architectures into practical controls, reusable patterns, and guidelines for AI teams;
• Ensure alignment with risk, vendor, third-party, and operational requirements;
• Prepare evidence for security gates and audits, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards;
• Lead the mitigation of security findings, escalating risks and deviations when necessary;
• Mitigate AI-specific risks;
• Support due diligence processes and the secure implementation of external AI vendors and platforms;
• Strengthen readiness for AI security incidents;
• Collaborate with SOC and central security teams;
• Promote the reuse of security patterns and best practices to scale the secure delivery of AI solutions.
