Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to integrate our teams and work on the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI and Machine Learning solutions. This role is focused on building high-impact, production-ready models, contributing to technical and architectural decisions, and ensuring robust end-to-end delivery aligned with best MLOps practices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to transform complex business problems into scalable and innovative AI solutions.

What you will do:

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced AI and Machine Learning models to solve real-world business challenges;
• Define modelling strategies, experimentation approaches, and analytical frameworks for complex AI/ML initiatives;
• Develop and optimise NLP and Generative AI solutions, including LLM-based applications such as chatbots, copilots, summarisation, sentiment analysis, and information extraction;
• Build and fine-tune models using modern architectures such as transformers, multimodal models, recommender systems, forecasting, and optimisation algorithms;
• Ensure reliable deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management of ML solutions following industry-standard MLOps practices;
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions;
• Contribute to technical architecture decisions, code quality, model validation, and best practices;
• Lead and mentor Data Science team members, promoting technical excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement;
• Communicate insights, results, and technical decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you are like:

• Experienced in Data Science and advanced Machine Learning applied to real-world, production environments;
• Proficient in NLP, LLMs, and Generative AI, including text pre-processing, embeddings, classical NLP models, transformers, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and RAG solutions;
• Strong background in Deep Learning, including CNNs, RNNs, LSTMs, Transformers, and familiarity with multimodal models (Vision + NLP);
• Experienced in building recommender systems, time series forecasting solutions, and exposure to Reinforcement Learning is valued;
• Highly proficient in Python and the main Data Science and Deep Learning frameworks (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow);
• Comfortable working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and managed ML services;
• Experienced in MLOps practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, DVC, CI/CD pipelines, and model deployment and monitoring;
• Fluent in English, with strong professional communication skills;
• Proactive, analytical, and collaborative, with the ability to lead, mentor, and influence technical decisions.
