Job Overview
We are looking for a Network Security Engineer to join our teams in a client environment. You will work on the design, implementation, and enhancement of secure network infrastructures, ensuring resilience, hardening, monitoring, and compliance across various technological environments. You will be part of a highly qualified team responsible for protecting critical network assets and improving the overall security posture.
What you will do:
- Deploy, configure and maintain firewalls and next-generation security devices (Fortinet set, FortiOS);
- Monitor, analyze and respond to network security incidents and vulnerabilities;
- Implement secure connectivity solutions, VPNs, segmentation, and zero-trust aligned architectures;
- Perform network hardening, security assessments, and threat mitigation activities;
- Support ethical hacking activities and penetration testing according to best practices;
- Ensure documentation, compliance, and operational excellence following security standards.
How you are:
- Proficient in network security engineering with strong practical experience in firewall management and secure network architectures;
- Skilled in security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management;
- Experience with Fortinet solutions and policy configuration and design at NSE4 level;
- Knowledge of ethical hacking methodologies (CEH) and risk reduction techniques;
- Comfortable working with network fundamentals and protocols (CCNA level);
- Solid understanding of security best practices supported by CompTIA Security+;
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and mitigating security risks;
- A collaborative team player with strong communication skills;
- Fluent in English.
