About the job Industrial Maintenance Technicians (Assembly and Painting)

We are recruiting Industrial Maintenance Technicians (Assembly and Painting sections) with proven experience in the role, for a client in the automotive sector, located in Mangualde (Viseu, Portugal). Our client is one of the largest automotive groups in the world, in the field of manufacturing and selling vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Inspection and diagnosis of failures in mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Corrective and preventive maintenance of equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Replacement of parts, calibration of instruments, and conducting tests after repairs.
  • Support and basic training for operators.
  • Management of maintenance tasks, prioritizing urgencies.

Specific Requirements by Section

  • Painting: 75% electrical/electronic (electrical diagrams, PLCs, robotics), 25% mechanical. Preference for experience with FANUC/ABB robots, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLCs, and welding.
  • Assembly: Knowledge of mechanics, electrical and automation. Experience with screwdrivers, AGVs, conveyors, and vision systems.

Desired Profile

  • Technical Professional Course in industrial maintenance (electrical, electronic, mechatronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical).
  • Proven experience and solid knowledge in the area.
  • Computer skills (reports in Word) and time management.
  • Ability to solve problems, work under pressure and collaborate in a team.
