Maintenance and Installation Technician

About the opportunity

HITO Solutions is recruiting a Maintenance and Installation Technician to join a dynamic and specialized team in the renewable energy and electric mobility sector.

We are looking for a professional with technical experience, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to intervene in work and technical maintenance contexts, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

Main responsibilities

• Perform the installation and configuration of renewable energy systems and associated equipment;
• Carry out the installation and configuration of electric vehicle chargers;
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on photovoltaic systems, electric vehicle chargers, LED lighting, batteries, among other equipment;
• Clean and maintain photovoltaic systems;
• Monitor and analyze the performance of systems and equipment;
• Prepare technical reports of interventions and maintenance;
• Install measuring and electrical protection equipment;
• Receive equipment and materials on site, ensuring stock updates.

Desired profile

Mandatory requirements

• Technical-professional course in the field of Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energies or similar areas;
• Proven experience of 2 to 5 years in preventive and corrective maintenance of photovoltaic systems and electric vehicle charging stations;
• Ability to diagnose and resolve medium-complexity electrical faults;
• Solid knowledge of communication protocols, namely Modbus TCP/RTU, and integration with monitoring platforms;
• Good knowledge of reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and technical documentation;
• Good physical capacity for work at heights;
• Availability for national travel;
• Driving license.

• Good communication skills in a work context and contact with clients;
• Ease of interpersonal relationships and team spirit;
• Ability to guide junior technicians and solve problems efficiently;
• Adaptability and quick response in urgent situations or changes in planning;
• Good knowledge of IT tools, particularly Excel and ERP systems (preferably PHC);
• Good knowledge of English, both oral and written.

Valued additional training

• Training in the installation and maintenance of electric vehicle chargers and/or photovoltaic systems;
• Training in working at heights;
• Basic Safety Training;
• Training in electrical risks.
