About the Maintenance Technician Job

We are recruiting for our client, a company in the industrial/automotive sector located in Águeda, which is looking to strengthen its maintenance team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assembly, cutting, and welding of materials, machines, and equipment;
  • Repair and maintenance of electromechanical equipment;
  • Replacement of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components;
  • Execution of preventive and corrective maintenance;
  • Testing and validation of equipment after intervention;
  • Carrying out maneuvers in transformation posts;
  • Interpretation of electrical diagrams and PLC programs;
  • Identification and prevention of failures in industrial equipment;
  • Compliance with preventive maintenance plans;
  • Participation in the continuous improvement of implemented management systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum education level of 9th grade;
  • Vocational training in Electromechanics;
  • Minimum experience of 6 months to 1 year in the role;
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial electricity;
  • Basic notions of automation;
  • Sense of responsibility and team spirit.
