About the Machining Technician Job

Summary / Overview: We are looking for a technician with practical experience in machining processes, focusing on industrialization, CNC programming, tool definition, and validation of production means. The ideal profile is someone with a strong technical component, accustomed to the factory floor environment and direct contact with suppliers and production teams.

Responsibilities and Tasks of the Role

  • Develop and optimize machining processes (concepts, fixtures, tools);
  • Program in CAD/CAM and create CNC programs;
  • Validate cutting tools and workpiece clamping assemblies;
  • Participate in the selection, reception, and commissioning of new production equipment;
  • Ensure product integration into the industrial process (machine/clamping/tools);
  • Perform centering, capability studies, and non-conformance analyses;
  • Prepare technical documentation and machining process budgets;
  • Participate in product and process audits;
  • Support suppliers in technical matters and validate production means performance.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements

  • Education: minimum 12th grade education.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with cutting tools for metal machining.
  • Solid knowledge of 2D and 3D design.
  • Solid knowledge in industrial metrology.
  • Solid knowledge in CAD/CAM programming.
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Sense of responsibility and organization.
  • Languages: Native Portuguese.
