What You'll do:

  • Installation, configuration and administration of SQL Server;
  • Management of the version lifecycle;
  • Administration of on-premises instances and Microsoft Azure;
  • Management of data files, log files and TempDB;
  • Definition and execution of backup and restore strategies;
  • Conduct recovery tests;
  • Administration of SQL Agent Jobs;
  • Management of transactional replication;
  • Analysis of processes, transactions, locks and deadlocks;
  • Performance tuning and query optimization;
  • Management of indexes and statistics;
  • Migrations between servers, versions and platforms;
  • Management of security, including logins, users, roles, privileges and auditing;
  • Support for SSIS, SSAS and SSRS;
  • Troubleshooting database incidents;
  • Support for Development, Integrations, BI, Applications and Infrastructure teams;
  • Production and maintenance of documentation and runbooks;
  • Support for the implementation and evolution of monitoring through Zabbix;
  • Hybrid work model;

Who You Are:

  • Senior experience as a SQL Server DBA;
  • Strong operational experience;
  • Ability to take ownership of a hybrid, complex and critical environment;
  • Experience with different versions of Microsoft SQL Server;
  • Experience in administering on-premises and Microsoft Azure environments;
  • Experience with Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and SQL Server on virtual machines;
  • Experience in environments with SQL Agent Jobs;
  • Experience in transactional replication;
  • Knowledge of SSIS, SSAS and SSRS;
  • Experience in critical environments operating 24x7;
