Location: Porto | Douro Region Regime: On-site with travel

Our client is one of the largest national tourism operators and is looking to strengthen its IT team with an IT Operations Manager, responsible for the technological management of the river fleet and for leading the technological projects associated with the vessels.

This role combines technical coordination, operational management, and regular on-site presence, ensuring the correct functioning of the technological infrastructure on board.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage all technological infrastructure of the river fleet;
  • Act as a strategic partner for River Fleet Operations;
  • Coordinate the dedicated support team for the vessels;
  • Lead construction, renovation, and commissioning projects for new ships;
  • Gather requirements from operational areas;
  • Coordinate external suppliers and oversee technical work;
  • Manage the IT River Fleet budget;
  • Plan activities for season openings and closings;
  • Coordinate technical interventions during the maintenance season;
  • Ensure high standards of security and availability of systems.
