What You'll do:

  • Lead engineering teams to deliver software predictably, efficiently, and with high quality.
  • Own delivery execution while ensuring alignment with the organization's technology roadmap.
  • Coach, mentor, and support engineers through regular feedback, career development, staffing, and performance management.
  • Promote engineering best practices, technical standards, and sustainable development processes.
  • Drive improvements in software quality, maintainability, testing, and operational excellence.
  • Partner closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders to translate business priorities into realistic delivery plans.
  • Serve as the technical counterpart to the Product Owner, helping balance technical and business needs.
  • Contribute to technology strategy, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives across engineering teams.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Actively participate in Agile product teams, supporting planning, execution, and delivery while encouraging teamwork and transparency.

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, QA Engineering, or a similar technical role.
  • Proven experience leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated experience combining people leadership with technical decision-making and delivery ownership.
  • Strong knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile software delivery practices.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) in cross-functional product teams.
  • Solid understanding of software quality, testability, maintainability, and operational excellence principles.
  • Experience translating business priorities into realistic delivery plans and execution.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working alongside Product Owners, Agile Leads, architects, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience driving engineering best practices, continuous improvement, and technology standardization initiatives.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.
