What is this challenge about
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for database services.
- Write efficient, reusable code with unit and integration tests.
- Automate environment provisioning, deployments, backups, and operational tasks.
- Manage Kubernetes XRDs and deploy databases across cloud and on-prem.
- Collaborate with DBAs, developers, and operations to improve reliability and scalability.
- Document infrastructure and monitor system health.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement preventive fixes.
- Secure systems and enforce least-privilege access.
What we are looking for
- 5+ years in DevOps or Platform Engineering.
- Strong AWS (RDS, EC2, VPC, IAM, EKS) and on-prem virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, Nutanix) experience.
- CI/CD experience with GitLab and Jenkins.
- IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation) and configuration management (Ansible) skills.
- Docker & Kubernetes experience, including XRDs and Crossplane.
- Scripting in Python and Bash.
- Advanced Oracle and PostgreSQL operations, zero-downtime migrations.
- Familiarity with monitoring, backup, and event-driven systems (Kafka).
- Strong communication, teamwork, and proactive learning.
- Bachelor’s in CS, IT, or related field.
- Fluency in English (minimum B2).
