About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP TM Developer to design, develop, and integrate technical solutions within SAP Transportation Management. You will collaborate closely with functional consultants and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality implementations in a fast-paced automotive technology environment.

We can consider candidates from any region of Portugal, provided they are available to travel to Porto sporadically, only when truly necessary.

To be more specific, when necessary, the travel will be approximately 1 to 2 days per month. However, we emphasize that trips will only take place if they are effectively justified.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Development

Implement SAP TM functionalities using ABAP, BOPF, FPM, BRF+, and related SAP technologies.

Configure and customise SAP TM technical objects, such as freight orders, planning, and charge management.

Integration

Develop interfaces between SAP TM and other SAP modules (SD, MM, EWM) or external systems (TMS, WMS, ERP).

Work with IDocs, PI/PO, CPI, Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs.

Functional Collaboration

Work closely with functional consultants to interpret requirements and specifications.

Participate in technical and functional design reviews.

Testing & Quality Assurance

Perform unit testing and support integration testing.

Troubleshoot and optimise code when required.

Technical Documentation

Create and maintain Technical Specifications (TS).

Contribute to solution documentation and technical manuals.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

5+ years of experience in SAP development, specifically SAP TM.

Strong proficiency in ABAP and SAP TM frameworks such as BOPF, FPM, BRF+.

Knowledge of SAP integration tools (IDocs, PI/PO, CPI).

Ability to interpret functional specifications and translate them into technical solutions.

Fluency in Portuguese and English.

Valued Certifications

SAP Certified Development Associate – ABAP with SAP NetWeaver / S/4HANA.

SAP Integration Suite Certification (SAP BTP).

SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP).
