DEVOPS ENGINEER MID/SENIOR (HYBRID)

Portuguese company hires for hybrid position.

📍 Location: Lisbon, Almada, Aveiro, Portugal

⚠️ Only candidates already based in Portugal will be considered.

💼 Work Model: Hybrid – 2 days per week on-site.

🗣️ Language Requirements: Advanced English (B2+), written and spoken.

🕓 Seniority: Mid-Level (3+ years).

🚀 Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Kubernetes upgrades in coordination with client teams.
• Support operations across public cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Assess and plan support for future Kubernetes version upgrades.
• Identify, prototype, and implement solutions to reduce overhead in Kubernetes upgrade processes.
• Perform zero-downtime upgrades for Elasticsearch nodes.
• Manage cloud integrations alongside Kubernetes clusters.
• Detect and assess Kubernetes API breaking changes and their impact.

🧩 Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud, and containerization projects.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, FluxCD, ArgoCD, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Proficient in public cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure or GCP accepted).
