Senior ServiceNow ITSM Administrator – IT Infrastructure

Lisbon-based opportunity with hybrid work model (up to 3 remote days per week).

As a Senior ServiceNow ITSM Administrator, you will be working for our client, a leader in IT service management solutions. You will play a pivotal role in configuring, maintaining, and optimizing ServiceNow modules, ensuring seamless ITSM operations that drive business agility and excellence. This is your chance to contribute to innovative projects at the forefront of IT infrastructure.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Implement and configure ITSM modules such as Change Management, Service Requests, Incident Management, and Problem Management
  • Manage and improve business processes through continuous enhancements
  • Analyze current environment and propose scalability improvements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and system features
  • Coordinate upgrades and manage permissions/access controls (roles, users, groups)
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and system problems promptly
  • Develop templates for data import and create dashboards as needed
  • Maintain consistency across environments (DEV, UAT, PROD)
  • Leverage knowledge of CMDB to enhance system capabilities

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in ServiceNow administration or a similar role
  • Strong expertise in ServiceNow ITSM configuration and workflows
  • Solid development background with experience managing ServiceNow components
  • Hands-on experience with Javascript, HTML, XML, and Web services (REST, API, SOAP)
  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices and ITSM principles
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused mindset

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

  • ServiceNow CSA – Certified System Administrator certification
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure and ITOM
  • Additional ServiceNow development certifications or ITIL Foundation

Language required for the role:

  • Fluent English (B2-C1 level)
