As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the tech industry dedicated to delivering reliable and scalable software solutions. You will help build robust automation frameworks that enhance product quality and streamline testing processes, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
Your main responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Git, Playwright, and Robot Framework.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies and ensure software meets quality standards.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid deployment cycles.
- Analyze test results, report defects, and work with developers to resolve issues promptly.
- Improve and optimize existing testing frameworks for performance and scalability.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage and adherence to testing best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in automation testing tools and techniques.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 4 years of experience in QA automation or a related field.
- Strong expertise with Git (version control), Playwright, and Robot Framework.
- Proficiency in scripting and test automation across different platforms.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with additional automation tools or programming languages.
- Certifications in QA or testing methodologies.
Language Required for the role:
- Fluent command of English and French.
