As a Senior QA Engineer – Automation & API Testing, you will be working for our client, an industry leader dedicated to delivering high-quality software solutions. You will play a vital role in ensuring the robustness and reliability of distributed systems by developing and maintaining automated tests for APIs and software components. Your main responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and scripts for API and UI testing
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and QA team members to clarify use cases and testing requirements
- Manage test environments, including deployment, service startup, and test data provisioning
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality delivery
- Conduct test orchestration and simulate external dependencies using scripting tools
- Identify, triage, and report bugs, ensuring timely resolution
- Contribute to process improvements for test automation and quality assurance practices
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in QA, ideally with automation & API testing
- Strong fundamentals in C# development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Good understanding of distributed architectures and inter-service communication
- Proficiency with system APIs (REST, RPC)
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)
- Experience with test automation frameworks (UI automation tools, API testing frameworks)
- Scripting skills in PowerShell or batch scripting
- Knowledge of managing CI/CD pipelines for automated testing
