As a Senior Manual QA Tester, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the software testing industry dedicated to delivering flawless digital solutions. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of cutting-edge applications, contributing to client satisfaction and technical innovation.
Your main responsibilities:
- Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases to verify software functionality and performance.
- Utilize SQL to validate data integrity and facilitate thorough testing.
- Record, track, and manage bugs and issues using JIRA, ensuring clear communication and resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams through Confluence, documenting testing procedures and results.
- Apply analytical and critical thinking to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve quality issues.
- Work autonomously with a proactive attitude, managing your workload efficiently.
- Communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrate curiosity, creativity, and organization to continuously improve testing processes.
- Adapt to changing project requirements with resilience and team spirit.
- Manage your time to meet project deadlines, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in manual testing or quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for data validation.
- Practical experience with JIRA and Confluence for test management.
- Excellent communication skills in English (communicative level) and French.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently with a high level of organization and rigor.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience working in agile environments.
- Certifications related to QA or testing methodologies.
Language Required for the role:
- English – Communicative level
- French – Proficient
