As a Senior IT Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the banking sector committed to delivering cutting-edge financial solutions and robust data governance frameworks. Your main responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize banking processes related to finance and accounting domains, with a focus on data governance and risk data aggregation.
- Lead requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication to facilitate effective data governance programs.
- Collaborate on implementing BCBS239 standards, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance across reporting platforms.
- Work with ETL tools, data warehouses, and reporting platforms (such as Power BI) to develop and enhance data solutions.
- Support integration and configuration of core banking systems and finance tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Avaloq, Temenos).
- Provide expertise in risk and finance data architecture, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Act as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions, translating complex requirements into actionable deliverables.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst within the banking sector, especially in finance and data governance.
- Solid experience with BCBS239, risk data aggregation, regulatory reporting, or major data governance initiatives.
- Hands-on familiarity with ETL tools, data warehouses, and reporting platforms such as Power BI.
- Knowledge of core banking systems and finance tools like SAP, Oracle, Avaloq, or Temenos.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Certifications in data governance, banking compliance, or project management.
- Experience working in multi-cultural or international teams.
Language Required for the role:
- Fluent in English (communicative level) and French.
