Porto-based opportunity with hybrid work model (up to 3 days remote/week).
As a Senior C#/.NET Backend Developer – Angular & SQL Expertise, you will be working for our client, a leading technology-driven organization focused on delivering scalable, reliable, and innovative software solutions. You will contribute to building robust backend systems and user-centric frontends that drive digital transformation and service excellence.
Your main responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality C#/.NET backend applications in line with best practices and standards.
- Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate Angular interfaces and REST API services.
- Manage and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases for performance and security.
- Implement unit testing frameworks such as NUnit and xUnit to ensure code integrity.
- Utilize Elastic and Kibana for metrics monitoring and log analysis.
- Enforce coding standards through tools like Sonar, and maintain security best practices using Checkmarx.
- Support CI/CD pipelines using AzureDevops & Bitbucket, and coordinate deployment processes with XLDeploy and XLRelease.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum teams, contributing to continuous improvement.
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in C#/.NET application development.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with backend application programming in C#.
- Familiarity with Angular for frontend development (plus).
- Knowledge of REST API integration and Windows Communication Foundation (plus).
- Solid understanding of SOLID and KISS principles.
- Commitment to coding best practices, code review processes, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Experience working within Agile & Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent command of English (minimum B2 level).
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with Checkmarx or similar security tools.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps and containerization.
- Certifications related to cloud, security, or agile practices.
Language Required for the role:
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
