About the role

The Functional Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of system integrations and regression functionalities within the project. This role involves analyzing existing regression test sets, redesigning and improving them when needed, and executing thorough testing cycles to validate system behavior after changes or deployments.

The tester will work closely with cross‑functional teams to identify defects, ensure accurate integration between systems, and support continuous quality improvements. Hands‑on use of tools such as Siebel, Order Management (OM), and SoapUI will be central to daily tasks.

This job has two positions open, one with a defined duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension, and another for a continuity project.

As a part of your job, you will:

- Perform regression testing by executing existing regression suites and ensuring system stability after changes.

- Redesign and update regression test cases to improve coverage, accuracy, and efficiency.

- Execute integration testing to validate data flow and interaction between existing systems.

- Analyze defects, identify root causes, and collaborate with development and functional teams to ensure timely resolution.

- Document test results, ensuring clarity, traceability, and reproducibility of findings.

- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to clarify requirements, understand system behavior, and support quality assurance activities.

- Use testing tools such as Siebel, OM, and SoapUI to perform test execution and validation.

- Ensure adherence to QA processes and best practices, contributing to continuous improvement.

What are we looking for?

- Hands‑on experience designing, maintaining, and executing regression test suites.

- Ability to validate data and process flows across multiple interconnected systems through integration testing.

- Practical experience working with Siebel CRM modules (especially Order Management (OM)).

- Understanding of OM processes and ability to validate end‑to‑end order flows.

- Ability to execute and validate API/WebService calls (SOAP/REST) using SoapUI.

- Familiarity with defect logging and tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps)

- Capable of producing clear test cases, test evidence, and reporting.

Nice to have:

- Basic SQL for querying data to support validation during testing.

- Motivation for international projects and ok if travel is included;

- Willingness to collaborate with other players;

- Strong communication skills.
