Shape the numbers that measure a global bank's performance. Porto-based opportunity with a hybrid work model.
As a Senior Business Analyst on our client's PnL platform, you will join the PnL team within the Risk department — the system responsible for loading, certifying, and publishing the bank's Profit & Loss figures, a core profitability KPI. You'll work alongside Business Analysts and Developers across Paris and Porto, collaborating closely with international IT teams and business users.
Your main responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document user requirements and functional specifications
- Design, document, and maintain system processes
- Conduct quality assurance by defining and executing test cases
- Own relationships with internal clients to optimize and develop new features
- Coordinate across teams to anticipate dependencies and remove blockers
- Act as the business knowledge reference for the development team — bridging communication and proactively chasing answers when needed
- Work within an Agile/Scrum environment
You're ideal if you have:
- 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar position
- Academic or professional background in Economics, Finance, Market Data, or Risk Management
- Methodical, detail-oriented approach with strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- A customer-oriented mindset, comfortable in a multicultural environment
- Basic knowledge of SQL
Nice to have (not required):
- Prior experience on IT projects within financial institutions
- Proficiency in French
Language:
- Fluent English (minimum B2 level)
