As an Application Support Engineer – SQL & Multi-Layer Diagnostics, you will be working for our client, a leader in leasing and financial services. You will be part of a dynamic team managing the CBM Platform program and the new P-USE middle-office system — critical tools designed to streamline operations and enhance user experience in the leasing domain. This role offers a unique chance to contribute to cutting-edge digital transformation initiatives, ensuring operational excellence and driving technological innovation.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Conduct structured, diagnostic discussions to identify and analyze incidents, asking targeted questions and reconstructing user journeys.
  • Reproduce and isolate incidents across environments, documenting clear steps for resolution.
  • Perform initial multi-layer technical diagnosis using browser tools, application logs, and database checks to determine root causes.
  • Deduplicate incidents, produce comprehensive reports, and prepare structured escalations to relevant technical teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate swift incident resolution, enhancing the application’s stability and user satisfaction.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in application support, ideally within financial or leasing contexts.
  • Proven knowledge of multi-layer application environments, including UI, APIs, workflows, and databases.
  • Strong expertise in SQL, network analysis (F12, HTTP, console logs), and basic understanding of Java (stack traces).
  • Familiarity with support tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, and Power BI.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (B2) and French (C2), with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues autonomously and rigorously.

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Knowledge of business processes in finance, credit, leasing, or middle-office platforms.
  • Experience with support and diagnosis in multi-layered enterprise applications.
  • Certifications related to application support or network analysis.

Language Required for the role:

  • French: C2 level
  • English: B2 level
