As a Senior Java Support Specialist, you will be working for a leading company in the banking and fintech sector, focused on enhancing B2B credit application processes. Your technical expertise and proactive problem-solving will drive incident resolution and support seamless financial operations, fostering innovation in the industry.

Your main responsibilities:

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to B2B credit applications in a timely manner.
• Diagnose system malfunctions and propose effective corrective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Monitor support tickets to ensure all issues are resolved within established SLA parameters.
• Collaborate closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to resolve complex issues efficiently.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and contribute to the team's knowledge base for continuous improvement.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint planning to support team agility.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 8+ years of experience in application support, software development, or related fields.
• Strong technical understanding of Java, with the ability to read and analyze code.
• Experience navigating mainframe environments and writing/running DB2 queries.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and ITSM tools like ServiceNow or similar.
• Prior experience in the banking, financial, or fintech sectors is highly valued.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Certifications related to Java, Agile, or IT Service Management.

Language Required for the role:

• Fluent in English and French, both verbal and written.
