As a Banking Deployment Engineer, you will be working for our client in the banking industry, spearheading deployment processes that ensure seamless and efficient application delivery. Join a forward-thinking team dedicated to elevating financial services through innovative automation and infrastructure solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab to optimize deployment workflows
  • Develop and maintain Unix scripts for automation, ensuring reliability and efficiency
  • Utilize XL Deploy and XL Release for effective deployment management across environments
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate Java and Cobol applications into deployment pipelines
  • Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues swiftly to minimize downtime
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for deployment and security

You're ideal for this role if you have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in deployment, automation, or infrastructure engineering
  • Proven expertise with Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD tools
  • Strong Unix/Linux scripting skills
  • Hands-on experience with XL Deploy and XL Release
  • Proficiency in Java and Cobol programming languages
  • Solid understanding of cloud and infrastructure platforms such as AWS and Azure
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Fluent in English, with strong communication skills

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Certifications in AWS, Azure, or related cloud platforms
  • Experience working in banking or financial services environments

  • Fluent English
