As an Application Support Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the IT infrastructure and systems industry. You will play a vital role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of complex IT systems, helping to deliver reliable support that enables digital transformation and operational excellence.
O que vais fazer
- Provide proactive application support for complex IT infrastructure and enterprise systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system updates, patches, and improvements
- Monitor system health and security, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing solutions
- Document technical processes, support procedures, and incident reports thoroughly and accurately
- Assist in the deployment of new systems and features, ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in both English and French
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for support workflows and service quality
O que é pedido
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in application support or IT infrastructure management
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments and enterprise system protocols
- Experience with monitoring tools and support ticketing systems
- Good command of English (communicative level) and French
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application and system issues efficiently
- Language required for the role: English (Communicative), French (Good command)
- Eligibility to work in Europe: Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered for this role
Valorizado
- Familiarity with cloud services and ITSM frameworks is a plus
- Certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA, or relevant vendor-specific certifications
- Experience working in a hybrid environment or remote support
