IT House is looking for a Frontend Software Engineer (React) for a direct placement with an end client in the IT / Telecommunications & Communications Engineering sector, located in Aveiro.

Main Responsibilities

Develop reusable and performant React components using external UI libraries as a foundation.
Actively contribute to frontend architecture decisions and technology choices.
Implement new features as the product evolves.
Help maintain code quality through thoughtful design patterns, automated testing, code reviews and incremental refactoring.
Improve and scale frontend performance, including interfaces that handle real-time, data-intensive streams.

Requirements

Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
3+ years of professional experience with React and TypeScript.
Solid foundation in software engineering, algorithms and design practices, including incremental refactoring.
Experience with Redux or similar state management tools.
Familiarity with REST APIs and OpenAPI.
Good knowledge of CSS/SCSS modules.
Strong commitment to writing readable, structured and maintainable code.
Valued (not mandatory): knowledge of RTK Query and E2E testing.
