ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Senior AI Flows Developer to support the design, development and optimization of AI-driven software solutions in the technology sector. This role combines software engineering, conversational flow development, API integration and applied AI concepts within a collaborative product engineering environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design, develop and maintain AI-driven conversational flows and software components.
• Build clean, maintainable and scalable code using C# or other relevant programming languages.
• Integrate systems and services through REST APIs and structured data formats.
• Review, refactor and improve new and existing source code to support quality, security and performance.
• Contribute to unit testing, monitoring, alerting and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary and distributed teams in an Agile delivery environment.
• Analyze complex technical problems, debug issues and propose sustainable improvements.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development, ideally within AI-driven or conversational solutions.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Biomedical Engineering or a related scientific field.
• Strong problem-solving ability, critical analysis and focus on delivery quality.
• Professional working proficiency in English, with clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with global teams and adapt to complex or uncertain technical contexts.
• Proactive mindset, ownership and resilience when working with emerging technologies or limited documentation.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Large Language Models and applied AI concepts.
• Object-Oriented Programming, data structures, communication protocols and knowledge bases.
• Advanced prompting techniques, including agents, tools and behavior-influencing mechanisms.
• C#, Python or JavaScript.
• Conversational flow development and AI-driven flow design.
• Low-code development environments.
• REST APIs, JSON, XML and gRPC.
• Agile methodologies, Jira and Confluence.
• Unit testing, monitoring, alerting and technical documentation.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with customer contact center environments, including conversational flows, authentication steps, user journey design or real-time customer interactions.
• Knowledge of the energy and utilities sector.
• Awareness of GDPR principles.
• Professional working proficiency in Portuguese or Spanish.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS.

COMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY

Base salary range: EUR 20 000 - EUR 40 000 gross/year.Total compensation: up to EUR 55 000/year.The salary range is based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including required competencies, professional experience, level of responsibility and role requirements. Final compensation will be determined according to the candidate's profile and position requirements.
