We are looking for a Java / Spring Boot Developer to join our Client's team on a hybrid working model from Lisbon, Porto, or Braga.

This opportunity is part of an exciting project in the insurance domain, within an international environment where you will collaborate closely with colleagues from both Portugal and the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Java and Spring Boot.

- Design and implement scalable microservices-based architectures.

- Work with cloud platforms and modern technologies to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Build and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.

- Collaborate with a multicultural team throughout the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.

- Contribute to continuous improvement by introducing innovative ideas, tools, and practices.

Required Qualifications

- 4+ years of experience in Java development.

- Strong expertise in Spring Boot and microservices architecture.

- Hands-on experience with modern technologies such as:

- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

- CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.

- Messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).

- Solid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases.

- Proficiency in English (B2 level).

- Availability to work on-site 3 days per week.
