ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to support a hybrid opportunity in Porto in the banking sector. This role focuses on improving implementation practices, enhancing automation capabilities, and supporting collaboration between development and operations teams in an international environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Support operational teams in adopting Infrastructure as Code, scripts, and modern DevOps practices applied to infrastructure.
• Improve version management and deployment pipelines, ensuring more reliable and efficient software delivery.
• Maintain and optimize Windows and IIS infrastructure, supporting the transition to container platforms.
• Facilitate collaboration between development and operations teams, helping to align delivery practices, operational needs, and technical standards.
• Promote automation, standardization, and continuous improvement in implementation and infrastructure practices.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 6 to 9 years of professional experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, automation, or infrastructure engineering.
• Solid experience in operational environments, with the ability to mentor teams and transfer knowledge effectively and systematically.
• Experience working in hybrid and distributed teams, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model in Porto, with office presence twice a week.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Scripting in Python.
• Scripting in PowerShell.
• XL Deploy.
• XL Release.
• Windows Server Administration.
• IIS Administration.
• OpenShift.
• Container concepts, including images, pods, and deployment practices.
• Infrastructure as Code.
• Version management and optimization of deployment pipelines.
• DevOps and DevSecOps practices.

GOOD NEWS

• Professional proficiency in French.
• Knowledge of C# to support the analysis of existing applications.

TRANSPARENCY IN COMPENSATION

Base salary range: €18,000 - €22,000 gross/year.

Total compensation: up to €35,000/year.

The base salary range is based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including required skills, professional experience, level of responsibility, and job requirements. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's profile and job requirements.
