Data analyst | mid

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Mid Data Analyst to support data visualization, reporting and analytics in the banking sector. This opportunity is focused on building scalable Power BI solutions for financial business teams, with a hybrid model including two on-site days per week.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design, develop and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for financial business users.
• Build analytical data models using dimensional modeling principles, including star schema, fact tables and dimension tables.
• Develop and optimize DAX calculations, Power Query transformations and SQL queries to support accurate and performant reporting over large datasets.
• Gather business requirements, support KPI definition and advise stakeholders on effective data visualization approaches.
• Apply reporting governance practices, including row-level security, workspace management and Power BI best practices.
• Translate financial business needs into structured, scalable and maintainable analytical solutions.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 3 to 6 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence or enterprise reporting, with strong Power BI delivery experience.
• Ability to work autonomously on reporting solutions in a structured and quality-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage business stakeholders, clarify requirements and present analytical outcomes clearly.
• Consultative mindset, with the ability to challenge requests constructively and propose effective solutions.
• Professional working proficiency in English, written and spoken, for an international and multicultural environment.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Power BI report development, dashboard design, workspace management and deployment practices.
• DAX, including evaluation context, time intelligence and performance optimization.
• Power Query and M language for data transformation and preparation.
• SQL, including complex joins, CTEs, window functions and query optimization.
• Dimensional modeling, Kimball methodology, star schema, fact tables and dimension tables.
• Row-Level Security and reporting governance best practices.

COMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY

Base salary range: EUR 20 000 - EUR 32 000 gross/year

Total compensation: up to EUR 42 000/year

The salary range is based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including required competencies, professional experience, level of responsibility and role requirements. Final compensation will be determined according to the candidate's profile and position requirements.
