Assurance Engineer | Mid

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Mid Assurance Engineer to support test, verification and validation activities for complex systems in the defence and public-sector technology domain. This role is based in The Hague, Netherlands, and involves quality assurance across technical artefacts, external delivery teams and operational acceptance processes.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Plan, organise and conduct formal reviews and assessments across complex technical domains, cross-functional areas and supply chain activities.
  • Evaluate compliance with organisational standards and identify the root causes of non-compliance.
  • Produce and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, requirements traceability matrices and test reports.
  • Review and provide assurance over test artefacts, including requirements traceability documentation.
  • Coordinate the design, planning, execution and reporting of verification and validation events.
  • Support projects where test execution is delivered by external contractors.
  • Support operational teams during operational acceptance activities.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear coordination during complex project delivery.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • At least 3 years of recent experience in planning and executing test, verification and validation activities in large and complex projects.
  • At least 3 years of recent experience with functional, non-functional and interoperability testing of systems and products.
  • Proven experience coordinating external stakeholders and colleagues during complex technical delivery.
  • Ability to understand and reason about hardware and software system architectures based on system design documentation.
  • Clear, structured and concise communication skills in spoken and written English.
  • Experience working with independent testing activities delivered by external parties.
  • Active or eligible secret-level security clearance required.

COMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY

Base salary range: EUR 15 000 - EUR 28 000 gross/year

Total compensation: up to EUR 34 000/year

Relocation Package Offer

The salary range is based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including required competencies, professional experience, level of responsibility and role requirements. Final compensation will be determined according to the candidate's profile and position requirements.
