ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a Lead API and Integration Architect to support the definition, governance and optimization of integration platforms in the energy and utilities sector. This role focuses on integration strategy, architectural guidelines, complex application integration specifications and stakeholder alignment in a global and collaborative environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Define architectural guidelines and governance documentation for integration platforms.
- Establish, document and present integration rules, standards and decision criteria.
- Design high-complexity application integration specifications aligned with business, security and technical requirements.
- Present and defend architectural decisions with technical and business stakeholders.
- Analyze integration needs, risks and dependencies across systems, platforms and teams.
- Promote integration quality, maintainability, scalability and compliance across delivery activities.
- Collaborate with global teams in strategic projects, supporting consistent execution and delivery quality.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- More than 10 years of professional experience in API, integration or software architecture roles.
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience in strategic projects involving complex technology environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present and defend technical decisions.
- Strong critical analysis, problem-solving ability and commitment to delivery quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively with global teams and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- API architecture and application integration architecture.
- Integration platforms and integration governance models.
- Integration patterns, standards and market trends.
- High-complexity application integration specifications.
- Data exchange, system interoperability and communication models.
- Agile methodologies.
- Jira and Confluence.
- GDPR principles applied to technology and integration contexts.

COMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY
Base salary range: EUR 18 000 - EUR 45 000 gross/year
Total compensation: up to EUR 50 000/year
The salary range is based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including required competencies, professional experience, level of responsibility and role requirements. Final compensation will be determined according to the candidate's profile and position requirements.
