Who are we looking for?

COBOL Developer

Main tasks:

Perform Technical Analysis, new developments or impacts on existing software, based on Functional Specifications;
Prepare unit and system test notebooks.
Execution of unit and system tests related to projects managed in the core or in which the core participates;
Prepare technical documentation and others, according to the company's methodologies in force;
Software programming, according to programming rules and development framework in effect at the company, based on previously prepared Technical Analysis documents;
Analysis and resolution of incidents, including accounting differences, and bug fixes;
Monitoring of batch chains, including support for the nighttime production batch, scheduled for this purpose.

Mandatory skills and technical knowledge:

Good knowledge of Cobol, DB2, CICS, and JCL;
Technical competence and at least 10 years of experience in programming / Analysis;
Specific functional knowledge in the Credit area - preferably in the area of subsidized repayable credit - mortgage, Discounts (Letters), Guarantees Received, and Credit Recovery;
Knowledge of accounting, applied to credit applications.

Desired skills and technical knowledge:

Knowledge of Control-M, EDz (development framework), ALM Quality Center, and BMC Remedy;
Knowledge of the methodologies and tools used in novobanco (Agile, CMMI, LEAN IT).
