Who are we looking for? Capital Markets Business Analyst

Main tasks:

Analyze complex financial products and translate them into business requirements, rules, mappings, examples, and acceptance criteria.
Draft functional specifications, business rules, data mappings, test scenarios, and documentation to support UAT.
Track and validate delivered solutions, including validation activities in production.
Work closely with Development, QA, Product Owners, and business stakeholders.
Analyze data through SQL and Excel to support functional analysis and validation of solutions.
Use Artificial Intelligence tools to improve productivity, analysis, documentation, and process automation.

Mandatory Knowledge:

Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Product Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role.
Experience in financial services, ideally in Corporate & Investment Banking, Markets, Post Trade, Operations, Risk, Treasury, or front-to-back platforms.
Solid knowledge of financial instruments and the lifecycle of operations.
Experience in analyzing financial products and translating them into functional and business requirements.
Good knowledge of SQL and Excel.
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
Fluent in English, spoken and written.
Practical experience using Artificial Intelligence tools.
Spanish minimum B2.
Residency in Portugal or Spain.

Desired Knowledge:

In-depth knowledge of FX and FX Options, Fixed Income, Swaps, Vanilla/FLEXI Options, pricing, and hedging.
Experience with trading or post-trade platforms.
Experience with matching, reconciliations, P&L controls, accounting flows, or regulatory processes.
Knowledge of Kafka, event-driven architectures, APIs, JSON, Avro, or Schema Registry.
Experience with Elasticsearch, Kibana, BDD, or Gherkin.
Knowledge of standards such as ISDA, FpML, ISO 20022, or FIX.
Knowledge of Spanish will be valued.
Profile oriented towards automation and continuous improvement.
