Who are we looking for?

Application Support & Delivery Manager (Mid-level)

Main tasks to develop:

  • Deeply understand the applications/services and their integration aspects with the business to carry out efficient and effective continuous application delivery.
  • Know the procedures and participate in the process of automating continuous application delivery.
  • Resolve incidents, issues, and performance problems arising from continuous application delivery.
  • Ensure that analysis requests are resolved quickly and within the agreed service levels.
  • Communication with Development/Application technical teams.
  • Analyze documentation and implement/improve it, as well as the automated processes and internal tools.

Mandatory skills and technical knowledge:

  • Knowledge of SO Linux, Windows.
  • Mastery of Unix Shell commands/navigation and familiarity with shellScript.
  • Familiarity with SQL syntax.
  • Familiarity with IT best practices standards/tools like ITIL, ISO20000, PCIDSS.
  • Ability to understand and solve problems related to problem analysis and performance.
  • Ability to propose and apply creative solutions for improvements or innovations to day-to-day problems.

Desirable skills and technical knowledge:

  • Ansible.
  • Bash, Korn Shell, and Awk.
  • Java.
  • SQL DB2/Oracle/SqlServer/Postgres.
  • Maven/Ant.
  • Technical proficiency in the English language.

Work regime:

Hybrid (3x a week in the office in Lisbon).
